Birds are such expressive creatures and I love the large and colorful beaks of toucans. I've painted this one on 300 gsm watercolor paper with aquarelle. I chose to portray this glorious bird on a branch, leaning forward as if he's taking a good look at his surroundings. I enjoyed putting all the little details in the beak and in his eyes and I hope you'll love him as much as I do.
