The Vibrancy of the Heliconia

Original painting not available

Giclée print upon request

I love nature and wanted to paint this fantastic vibrant heliconia. Heliconia flowers are native to tropical rainforests in the Americas. Its name is derived from the Greek word "helikonios" and the flower is named after Mount Helicon. Mount Helicon was the seat of the Muses in Greek mythology. The muses were said to remain young and beautiful. I wanted to depict this wonderful flower and in this way, this beautiful heliconia will not wilt.

I've painted this painting in 2024 on 300 gsm watercolor paper with aquarelle.

The size of the painting is 28,5 x 21 cm
