I’ve painted "Budding Love" with watercolor on 300gsm watercolor paper. I love the wonders of nature and prefer to depict them with watercolor. Roses represent love and passion. To me, this blossoming pink rose and a rose bud stand for the first stages of love. That period where everything is still new and fresh, but also innocent and insecure. You dream that the beginning love you feel will come into fruition and that the small flower bud will grow and blossom just as beautiful as the magnificent rose.
